Spring is finally here and I am not sleepy anymore! I am dreamy and full of energy! I am delighted to announce a new collaboration with beautiful Lisa who agreed to help me with the pictures. So there is some good news: it will get much more international.
It is a quite busy time for me, but I really hope that I will manage to show you more dreamers and dreams. About the photoshooting I can only say that it was the most quiet one that I have ever participated at. But it was totally worth it!! Without any other complaintmants and small talks about the weather (which actually made me incredibly happy), I am more than pleased to present you the next dreamers:Aqua aka Akvile Staniute.
I met Aqua in the first night I moved to England and she turned out to be also the first person from my course that I met. And then, one year later, we moved in together. She is Lithuanian, hence my introduction (labas=hello). Living with 2 Lithuanians makes me think that I will speak fluently by the time we finish university (keep on dreaming, Ana!!).
There are so many things that come into my mind when I think about Aqua. She is that girl who will always buy a new pair of shoes just because she loves to do that. She will always help you get your hair and make up done before you go out. Aqua will nodge when you do something silly but still listen to your embarassing stories. She is also that friend that everyone has and hates because of this: she can eat the whole day and NOT get FAT!! Aqua is my friend, my coursemate, my flatmate, my daughter (inside joke, as I worry about her and my other flatmates -Hello, Ruta!!- unhealthy eating habbits).
Ladies dreamers and gentlemen dreamers, meet Aqua and her dreams (explained short and clear)!!

What was your dream
job as a kid? Tell us more about it.
When I was a
kid (probably around 8 years old), I wanted to be a librarian because I really
liked spending time in my local library. It just seemed like a really important
and cool job to me as you got to be in charge of all the books in the library.
Also my favourite film character was Evelyn form The Mummy and she was a
librarian in Egypt. As weird as it sounds now, at that time it seemed like a
very adventurous job.

What is your dream
job now? Tell us more about it.
Now my dream has changed from a librarian to a
fashion journalist. For a long time I imagined myself as a journalist. Now
the time has come to be more specific about my future career choice, so having a
passion for fashion kind of determined my decision. I think it’s a really
exciting profession as obviously you get to write about the things you love
most.

Where does the dream
go? What is happening to the dream of becoming a librarian? Where is your
current dream going?
I guess as kids we all have these silly dreams
as we see the world in a complete different way. As I said before, being a
librarian seemed very adventurous to me and growing up showed that obviously
this job doesn’t include hunting down mummies and saving the world.
Unfortunately of course… Also, you start
having so many different interests as you grow up and that kind of determines
your career choice along the way. My current dream is a lot closer to reality
than my librarian one. I am graduating next year as a Media professional
(hopefully!) and we’ll see where I get from there.
Throw your dreams into space like a kite, and you do now know what it will bring back, a new life, a new friend, a new love, a new country.
